White stuff around your vagina is normal as long as you don't ich and stuff like that. More than likely the white stuff is your body trying to clean itself out as well as keep the vagina from drying out. This is what doctors will tell you.

This has been happening to me as well and for a while i was too embarrassed to say anything so all i did was buy pantiliners and tried to forget about it. Finally my boyfriend suggested i tell the doctor so i did. She took a swab and swabbed down there and went to look at it under the microscope and said that we have bacteria down there and sometimes it becomes unbalanced so she prescribed some pills but it still hasn't gone away. I'm embarrassed to go back to the doctor so i'm back to just using pantiliners.

    Hey Girls,

I'm 25 and you all really don't need to worry. Your vagina will naturally secrete fluid during the month, before or after your period; it can be white or slightly off-white in colour and if left on your panties will turn yellowish. It might be watery or it could be more gooey, it differs from girl to girl. If you are sexually active and/or have had some sort of foreplay with your boyfriend, you might find that you get 'wet'. This is natural, your body is producing hormones and getting wet down there makes it easier for sexual intercourse, it's just your body prepping you because you're turned on.

If you have a lot of discharge and it is very yellow with a strong smell, there is a chance you have a yeast infection and you should go to see a gynecologist or a doctor to help you. Same goes for having any worries about these things - they are professionals, don't be embarassed about talking to them if you have questions. Mom's also know a lot, if you're cool talking with your mom.

In reply to a couple of the other posts on here - I would like to strongly suggest against having sex without a condom, this CAN lead to pregnancy, Sexual Transmitted Infections (STIs) or Sexually Transmitted Diseases (STDs). "Pulling out" is NOT a clever form of contraception, you could still get pregnant! Do make sure that your boyfriend/partner's hands are clean when you are engaging in foreplay - or you can end up with an infection.

If you have engaged in foreplay and your boyfriend has touched himself before touching you, there is small chance he might have semen on his hands or pre-cum which can contain a little semen; this does create a very small chance that he could make you pregnant. This is a small possibility, so do not overly stress about it as stress can cause you to miss or have a late period. Please use caution when doing things with your boyfriends - it's fun, but you do need to be smart about it!

My final point is - Boys going through puberty have a lot of hormones; do not feel pressured into doing anything you're not comfortable with. Respect yourself and others will show you the respect you deserve.

    Hope this helps :)

Okay, so my story sounds kind of familiar, but I really think I'm pregnant. I have white drops that drip out when I go to the bathroom & also on my underware. Iv been with my boyfriend for 3yrs, & I'm pretty open about it..& he swears he never "came" in me... We don't use condoms, just pull out. I'm suppose to get my period but I haven't yet... But this isn't the first time I got my period at a different time, so I'm not gunna just assume im pregnant, I'm pretty sure my boyfriends sick of me thinking I'm pregnant everytime we have sex. Lol but this time I'm worried, I've never had stuff drip out my vagina unless if it was my period... Is this a possible sign of pregnant, because everyones said something different, like it's clensing itself, or duplicating cum that's already in me, or it's normal unless it smells.. Which it doesn't. Idling which one I have! Lol HELP

Don't let these ***edited by moderator*** ** inappropriate posting**people tell you sh*t to get you scared straight . EVERY woman has this .... even as a virgin ... if they say they don't they're lying ! . Its a form of an orgasm basically .... not syphilis or semen or nothing . Its PERFECTLY normal ....

Yes, you can get pregnant if you're having sex or your vagina comes into contact with sperm. The pulling out/withdrawal method is absolutely risky as it's likely that pre-cum is already in you before he ejaculates plus let's face it - even if that wasn't the case it's not like men are thinking most clearly about timing to pull out right before they cumm XD Even condoms aren't 100% so basically if you're having sex there's a chance you can get pregnant. I suggest condoms plus a back-up method if you want to be very careful. I'm not suggesting abstinence but better methods of birth control :-P

Yes, you can get STDs even with condoms as they help protect against diseases passed through seminal fluid but not those you'd get through skin contact. You can still get herpes/warts, crabs, etc.

Re the vaginal discharge questions: As other posters have responded, it is normal to have some discharge and the amount/frequency varies by person. It does help flush the vagina and provides lubrication for intercourse when you're aroused. If it's itchy, "chunky", or has a strong odor then you probably want to see your doctor to rule out a yeast infection or STD. If it hurts when you pee, you should also get that checked out to rule out a urinary tract infection (UTI) or STD.
