I'm one of apparently thousands of women going through this ordeal with NO HELP and NO ANSWERS from the medical community and this makes me VERY upset.
WHY aren't we getting any answers?? Is anyone even researching this? Do gynecologists care at all? Or are they in such a hurry to get us out of their offices that they could care less if we die of a new form of cancer or not. I would love to curse them out and insert a bunch of profanities here but I'm sure that's just my COMPLETELY WHACKED OUT HORMONES TALKING!!!! >;)
I've had my period for about four weeks now, light brown most days, sort of reddish and kinda normal for a few days then back into light brown. It's disgusting. It makes me feel like a sexual reject, it's affecting my mood and attitude towards everything else and this is not the first time it's happened. Sometimes I go for a couple of weeks where I think I'm going to enjoy normal non-period days and perhaps go without a cursed maxi pad... but no. It returns and I have to scrub out or throw away yet another pair of beloved panties.
Most of the time it's mildly irritating and I go about my day ignoring it... but this last round has got me seriously worried. And, reading all these familiar scenarios has me not only worried but vehemently PISSED OFF.
We deserve answers and we're not getting them.

I feel quite lucky, my doctor is brill i feel she is on the ball. I know what my problem is.
Yours sounds simular...
I bleed off an on. Brown mess not much tho. Bedding ruined, old pants draw an nice pants draw.
Intercause..... Will i bleed or not this time.
Sharp pains in low tummy, moods up an down, very emotional.
Blood clots when "normal" period. feeling depressed.
I had a scan 5 years ago, they told me i had cycts. I was put on the pill to help. It did
Now things have gone backwards. Went for second scan 2 months ago.
I now have fibroids, cycts, an they think a polup.
Going to see the gyni on the 8 sept.
The doctor has said the polup will have to be removed an i will have some sort of hormone to help the other syptoms.
The only thing im not happy with....
Im 40 now an they wont let me have the pill anymore.
The doctor wants me to have the marina coil.
I dont want it.... it has bad side effects.
Im wondering about being sterilised but still need some sort of hormone.
Do you know at all what your problemis?
