I had an abortion 2 years ago since then i had taken contraceptive pills to stay away from pregnancy but now i'm not able to conceive. My menstrual cycle is normal and it occurs after every 28 days. Is it due to the abortion that I'm not able to conceive. Do i need to go for a check-up. Kindly suggest.

How long have you been off of the contraceptives? How long have you been trying to get pregnant?
If there were no complications after your abortion, infection or scarring, it is unlikely to be a factor.
FYI, we don't begin to consider fertility issues until after a year of trying.
