Are there people who can explain how MS works please? I heard that with MS, some random parts of the brain can come under attack and it is not possible to predict how or when MS will strike next. This explains why some people with MS have memory loss and others lose the use of their legs. MS is a big mystery for me and I am hoping someone can tell me all about it.

Multiple Sclerosis affects the central nervous system and all functions controlled by it. Like any other disease, it does not "act" in a straight line - there are even two forms of MS, one that has periods of remission and one that does not. If you would like more information, why not check out sources like wikipedia and eMedicine? There is a lot of great info about MS out there!
