yeast infection delayed periods

im 24 years old and i got a yeast infection from an antibotic i had it for 3 days on the third day i got my period it was really heavy and clotty and now its gone i had the period for on 2 days. but i feel fine, my period usually last 4-6 days my period was also 3 days late. could it be from the antibotic throwing my hormones outta wack?

I'm 14 I am pretty sure I have a yeast infection, I'm almost a month late and. Took a pregnancy test that said I wasn't pregnant. Should I wait longer and try another test or stop taking the pills that are giving me the yeast infection?

Umm, i havent gotten my period for 2 months and im not pregnant, what could it be ? Can anyone help me ? Please.

Combating a yeast infection right now, and my period is 6 days late. I'm feeling a bit crampy, and now my boobs are feeling slightly sore. Took an HPT, and came out negative. Going to the obgyn on Monday. I read that some women had a yeast infection as their first sign of pregnancy.

I am in the same predicament! except i'm 20, single and haven't done anything sexual in 5 months. so there is no possibility that i'm pregnant, but it's still bothering me!!

I'm 28 and have been on the pill since January. Last month my obgyn switchd me to Junel fe, a low hormone dose pill. I didn't get my period this month tho. and then on the fourth week of the pill pack I got a yeast infection. I haven't had one in forever! so I wait a week, a week form the time i was suppose to get my period and I took a test, its negative. But what worries me the most is as i did my research on junel fe, it says that the drug topamax decreases its effectiveness. I take 50mg a day. Why didn't my dr, tell me this??? So am I getting a false negative? I'm worried because topamax is not good for pregnant women at all. and there are no other signs. I"m a vegetarian and I tend to not eat a lot, i've been particularly moody this week but I don't know if its the meds, or just a hormonal thing? i do know i'm two weeks late but is that cause i'm going on my second week of my pill pack? i'm at a loss. :( please some insight

Ok ladies Ihad never had a yeast infection till I took this really strong. antibiotic ..then bam! I got my 1st yeast.that took me 3 months to get rid of! Soo with in that 3 months I didn't get my period.. sooo i started taking a probiotic with 1 billion live cell.. stress vitamin B complex.. vitamin A 8000 iu.. fish oil 1000 ..while.Iwas on 2 yeast pills and bam! Got my period and the yeast is gone...yay! Maybe it will work for u ladies

Is there a correlation between missed or very minimal periods and yeast infections?  I went off the pill (after being on it for 9 years) 7 or 8 months ago. I have decently regular periods for about 5 months.  But in September (20th-28th) I had my period twice with only 2 weeks in between.  Now, it's the end of November and I haven't had a "real" period since then. Oct 30th (approx.) I got a yeast infection.   I've been spotting though for 2 weeks and might have had a very very slight period 2 days ago.  But now I have another yeast infection coming on maybe.... Where is my period? Why am I getting these yeast infections? I've felt generally great otherwise.  Yes, I've taken 6 pregnancy tests in the past 3 weeks. All negative and taken first thing in the morning (pink and blue dye).  My husband and I have been active but have used condoms (95% of the time).  Do I have a hormonal imbalance?  Is my body just trying to figure out how to be off the pill?  Could I be pregnant but not producing enough hormone to be detected by home pregnancy tests?  

Clarification, it's 11/22 and the last day of my last period was 9/28. I've been spotting for the past 2 weeks. Had a yeast infection at the end of Oct. Now I feel like I'm getting another yeast infection at the end of Nov.

Sweetie, your 16. You shouldnt have to be freaking out about missed periods. Seriously! Dont grow up too fast!!!! Also I would hope if you were my 16 yr old you'd come to me for help. If your parents arent available there has to be some adult that you can go to....also just for clarification. ..THE PULL OUT METHOD DOES NOT WORK!!! My middle child could be the poster child for that ;). If you are going to choose to have sex please do so phisically responsibly!!!! Condom every time!!!

Stop having unprotected sex is one. Go to doctor is two get on birth control is three and go luck sweetie. Sometimes women get yeast infections from tight clothing improper from of underwear and sometimes as well from having sex with someone who is having unprotected sex with someone else.
Use protection there's new stds around just be careful. Not saying your bf is sleeping around. I don't know him nor you. This would be something I would tell my daughter. Thank God she's only 11 now, but that won't last.
