:-(Im fifteen and i havent started my period yet.....i no im a lil behind

Well ther was yucky brown discharge in my undies about four five days ago....i thought it was my period, except im still gettin it....im real worried and a lil embarrased to tell my mom, im scared it mite be cancer or a infection.....plz help me
