HELP! How can I successfully lose 25 pounds gained because of menopause? I am 51 and have not had a period in 3 years. I gained the weight during menopause even though for a year I worked out a Curves and ate mostly salads and Albacore without any weight lose. I now weight 130 and always weighted from 103 to 110. I recently had to get on high blood pressure meds and had the full blood workup with all good results. Thyroid was fine. IT IS ALL BECAUSE OF MEMOPAUSE! I remember the extra weight of other women, including my Mom and it did come off eventually, but years down the road. I don't want to wait years. Please help me lose this weight. Is there anything I can do? I asked my Dr. and all she said was that Memopause does all sorts of awful things to our bodies. There has to be something to take off the pounds. I have push mowed the whole yard all summer, but spend my days locked up in an office, sitting at a desk. Help!

Menopause refers to the physiological stopping of menstrual cycles that is associated with advancing age in species that experience such cycles. More specifically menopause occurs as the ovaries of the species stop producing estrogen, which in turn causes the entire reproductive system to slowly come to a halt.http://www.menopauseweightgain.biz/
