Vas Deferens and Testicular Pain thread.

It sounds like the pain you all are having is similar to mine. I am only 17 with on and off pain in what seems to be vas deferens pain and pain in lower abdomen. The pain radiates through my right leg only. Pain is near nerves in leg which probably explains pain in leg. Nothing seems to be swollen or puffy. Urine is normal, stool is normal, and no no pain in penis or testicles. Could be a blockage of sperm if you ejaculate a lot. The vas deferens is a cord and inclosed in it is blood vessels, nerves and lymphatics-into abdominal cavity. I know some of you have had it for many months. Let me know how often you have this pain.

I went to my doctor about a month ago to make sure I didn't have a residual infection from my first bout of epididymitis and he cleared me of that, did a VERY thorough examination of both of my testicles (concluded no lumps or irregularities), and then told me that it's entirely possible that I haven't quite healed completely from the epididymitis yet and that being jostled can cause some pain similar to what we're all experiencing. He asked me evaluate my lifestyle (lots of sitting? working out without proper supporting underwear? a constant pressure being placed on the testes from tight jeans? etc.) and it seemed that part of my problem was playing A LOT of tennis in boxer shorts and wearing tight jeans that tended to clamp my testicles to (you guessed it) my left side where I've been having the pain.
I then found this website which I thought was very useful: http://www.prostate-massage-and-health.com/testicular-pain.html and I made some changes according to the info listed. It seems that the most important thing when dealing with this pain (assuming you don't have a hernia or other obvious problem) is to SUPPORT your boys. I was a total boxer short guy (I had quite a collection) and now I've been forced to switch to briefs, but my testicles have never been happier. I still have some pain that varies day to day, but switching to briefs made a big difference and the pain (when present) seems to be decreasing. I'm giving myself until Christmas, and if the pain is still there I'm going back to my doctor for more exams (although it doesn't seem like it does much good in this case) just to rule out a hernia, prostasis, or something more treatable. Godspeed everyone! Don't lose hope!
FWIW: I'm 21 years old, 5'8", with a very skinny build.

I recommend the following:
- Drink more fluids, many of you may have a bacterial infection that has been able to arrise because your lymphatic system doesn't have the 'tools' to clear all the body toxins and being a delicate area the groin will be among the first places to suffer because of it. (check your pee, is it almost clear? Cuz it should be!)
- Stop sitting funny, like a few people on this thread have said i too sit with a leg up on my chair, this puts extra strain and pressure on the vas deferens' and may prevent circulation (bloodflow and/or fluid) to the testicles or indeed the whole groin area. Simple changes to posturing or simply walking around every few minutes can greatly reduce this occurance become contributary.
- Stop wearing pointless underwear, how many of you wear boxer shorts that offer absolutely no support what so ever? You knowthe sort i'm talking about, they're just another piece of material that gets ruffled up and strangles your balls when you sit down, you may as well go without. Try some more supportive undies...Briefs or tighter figure hugging boxers (the "myshreddies" brand (google it) for example), it lifts everything offering support and makes it all look bigger too ;-)
- And the most exciting one: Wank more, but don't "Stop and Go" just wank, cum, relax. This may help clear your 'passages' and obviously increases bloodflow. Though the simple rule is: If it hurts, stop.
Those of you that havn't been to see a GP should really do so first, some anti biotics will clear some people's symptoms completely within a few days but theres no single miracle cure because these symptoms can have many reasons be it Bacterial, Fungal (sti), Bloodflow, Variocele etc, etc.
Regarding variocele veins. This may be the cause for some of the posters' pain i suggest each of you check wikipedia and other sources paying particular attention to the physical symptoms ("bag of worms" on the 'cords' in the scrotum for example) as the pain symptoms are similar this can be misleading and cause unnessecary worry.
For me; I've had epidiymitus on quite a few occasions, one time it was simply a strained testicle and now i have pain in the right part of my abdomen in the vas deferens, i'm personally of the belief that it is my lifestyle that is the issue, don't you think it's strange that i've have bacterial infections AND strained testicles? Try all the above and see how you feel!
Then let me know if it helped: _[removed]_

First I want to say thank you all for your participations as they made me more comfortable that there is alot of people there who experience the vwry same symptoms we all experiencing.
Second , my pain started in my left testicle about a year and a half ago, went to first doc said epididymitis, was prescribed ciproflaxin antibiotic called estesina for 10 days.
the swelling went away but the pain stayed and that was the start of my journey. The doc said nothing to worry and it should go away by itself(yea right!) .Went to another doc who requested ultrasound for testicles negative as usual so again nothing prescribed. Then went to another doc who requested ultrasound tests for kidneys, bladder, prostate, and testicles all were negative.again nothing wa prescribed.I also did a urine test for bacteria and other things, all showed negative except for crystals (ca.oxilates) were out of range but the doc said its nothing ubnormal.
All this and the pain continued( only in left side with the vas deferens in pain and hard) untill last month were i started experience some pain in right side.I went to the doc again, this time it was me who requested a sperm test!to see my standing! He said why not! so I did the test and brought it to the doc and now he changed his opinion! apparently the leococyes concentration was 90/cubic mm which basicly means that the white blood cells exist more than usual in sperm,so finally with my persistance something showed wrong at least in test ! Basicly this means that I have infection in prostate( bacterial infection). I am now on an antibiotic called vibramacin( doxicycline family) for 1 month. This type of infect needs a long term antibiotic treatment cos it is there for a long time without any diagnoses! And only to make sure of what the doc prescribed for me, I took the sperm test to another doc and he assured the diagnoses with the probability that he may extend the treatment to 2 months! he did a prostatic message for me and requested a urine test to check if the prostatitis is chronic or not.
Sorry for make it long but i though of sharing it with you for the hope that we all get rid of that annoying pain!
Now after 16 days on vibramacin i cant assure that im on the right track but I definitely feel more comfortable than the first day on that medicine.
So to wrap up, guys I think you all should do sperm test (which is cheap) as the urine test is not accurate on showing prostatitis ( did both tests)
If the leococytes number is high ( anyone knows the range?), then long term antibiotics is the treatment.
sorry again for long post and the grammar.I'll keep you updated with the results.
Regards

I had all the check ups done, and nothing irregular was found.
I think my problem is a muscle that is right next to my right testicle.
Things seemed to be improving for me; I was just living with it but the other day I was re-adjusting my penis and my fingers went to the upper tip of my right teste and I felt a sharp pain again.
It's hard to describe in words how mad feeling that made me because I was feeling like I was finally beating this -whatever it is- then I felt THAT.
I think it's an irritated or strained muscle around the right teste and the pain goes up the right side of my groin.
Activity seems to irritate it too. I bought a jock strap but I don't really notice much of a difference. Some people say the testes should hang loose other people say you should support them.
I don't think ANYONE knows wth the problem is, really.
Every one I knwo says I shoudl go back to the dr. but they found nothing before and it cost me hundreds of dollars and money is TIGHT right now.
Can anyone tell me -- are there muscles around the testes that move along up your groin?
Masturbation doesn't change anything; when I ejaculate I feel nothing wrong at all.
I'm afraid to go searching for what makes it hurt because once I feel the JABBING pain, the pain does NOT go away right away.
The one thing that I can say is: When I get an erection and my penis starts moving as the result, I then feel some pain. There must be some muscle tissue that moves around the teste area when the penis moves.
When I cup my testes, I don't feel a pain either.
Now I said these things to my dr. and got no answer -- but I got hundreds of dollars of bills. :-(
Does ANYONE have ANY idea based on what I've typed here what the problem could be?
The left side of my scrotum is -- THANK GOD -- fine.
Moving my penis around or feeling an erection coming on brings the pain on.
This so tiring and annoying.

I believe I have had a similar issue for the past 15 months it started 4 weeks after meeting my girl-friend , she started complaining that she had pain while urinating and at the sometime I noticed that I had an aching pain in the right lower part / testicle / vas deference or cord. Her UTI test showed that she had an UTI infection and all my tests (STD/BLOOD/ UTI/ ULTRA-SOUND) x 3 times these test have been done showed negative results to everything!
I have had clymidia and was successfully treated for this 4 years ago, but I cannot help wonder that there is some kind of connection between the girl-friend and the history of once contracting an STD?
Since then I have been treated by the standard STD / UTI medication and recently found a new doctor who suggested that there is likely an infection located deep in the testicle tubes where STD / UTI tests fail to show the infection.
I have been told by this doctor that it will likely take a range of antibiotics over a long period of time to eventually erradicate the pain / infection that appears to be occurring from the bottom right testicle / cords or vas deferens or possibly the empidimtimis.
I too used hot baths / applications of ice water etc.. to combat the pain.
I believe that changing sexual partners or possibly not being sexually active while trying to treat the pain may help aid curring the pain as my pain tends to flare up more painfully after having sex with my girlfriend at the time...
To add I have seen many different doctors / surgeons / urologists. after I found a doctor who was prepared to take on the responsibility of really trying to treat and cure me I have since found some hope that this could be cured..... So find a doctor who is prepared to help you......!!
So that's all I have to say, I have not found a cure for myself but when or if I do, I am sure to post it here.
Best of luck people and take care and I cannot strongly recommend using protection as if I was more careful I guess I may of been able to of avoided this similar situation..

Only had it for a week or so, so hopefully I'll be able to clear it up since it's annoying as hell, especially when it decides I need to feel like someone jabbed a needle in my nut, god damn.
