I am thinking about signing up for a 2-day 150 mile bike ride (ms150 city to shore) and then running my first marathon (baltimore) 12 days later. Does anyone know if there is enough time to recover between the two events? I know recovery time depends on a lot of factors, but what factors? How can i know if it will be okay for me?

I have plenty of time to train for both events in the Fall.

Hey so I don't have much advice for you but I am planning to do the same thing this summer. I did the ms150 last year and don't remember being that sore afterward.
I wonder if I would be overtraining though and possibly risking a knee injury. I was also looking at a second half marathon three weeks after the first. I mean...if you are in the shape for the first a second would just mean maintaining that level after a recovery right?
