I have pain in m left nipple and the other is fine. It only hurts if it is touched. It is not enlarged or discolored or any other problems. What could it be. Thank you1

I too have identical symptoms. I am a 76 year old man - starting three months ago I have had severe pain in my left nipple when touched - minor pain in right nipple when touched. I have no swelling in either breast or swelling in armpits - only change in general health has been weight loss (at 5' 10" my weight has dropped from 145 lbs to 125 lbs during last three month period). Can a change in hormone levels (with age) be responsible for pain and weight loss?
