In what food natural probiotics are found? I want to avoid supplements because I’m allergic on material that capsules are made of. I’m not so fond of milk, so I’d like to know what the other resources of acidophious are. I’ve heard that they are also helpful in reducing risk of allergies. Have you found it true?

Cultures of lactobacillus acidophilus are found in miso and tempeh. These are soy products that are used as a replacement for milk. They are also found in onions, garlic, wheat, bananas, honey and tomatoes. So, if you are vegetarian, you have your resources of probiotics. I’ve also heard that acidophilus has influence on immunity and reducing the risk of allergies.
