The good thing is that your friends and family are by your side because they are crucial for you to succeed, but you can’t get off drug as addictive as methadone without some professional assistance. Maybe a doctor in a different town? I better not comment behavior from your previous doctor, I just can’t understand some people, obviously. But, what happened with the pain you had?
The danger of you trying to quit methadone on your own is that withdrawal symptoms are just too hard, painful and unbearable for someone to handle on their own. That way you risk to overdose because you will lose the tolerance you have now. And there is no chance that you can quit methadone cold turkey – the dose needs to be slowly reduced over time.

Thanx for the imput. Yes the pain is still ther and some times worse then others. But being on nothing is were i need to be again. ive tried other doc. in town and out. but the demand for them is fonumanal. please dont mind the spelling. lol. I'm not to sure if i can do this but it realy needs to be done. the overdoese im not worried about. because the amount of methdone that i take is a shoot glass every morning and thats it. ther is days were i need more but i fight it. its very dump. that the doc gets me addicted to the medication. and then when i metion bringing my dose down she flips out. i was told by other people who have her as a doc. they say shes a pill pusher. and shes very upset alot. Is it treu that docors get more money for the amount of medication they provide. also a small amount from the farmecies?. if this is the case no wonder she got mad. But this is nether here nor ther anymore. I just want to b normal. and not have to depend on a substance to b normal. Im not sure if u understand what im trying to say. I just want to b who i used to b if this is posible. lol. Thanx for everything. And Merry x-mas jappy knew year.
