I went into the surgery knowing it was going to be a painful procedure, and oh boy yes it was.. firstly, upon returning home it started bleeding so I returned in the morning to have the doctor suck clots from the back of my throat which aggrevated the wounds. Around day three it started bleeding badly again, went to the hospital to be told I was going to be put back under general anesthesia and have the tonsil beds re-caurterized, and stitched up.. Nine days later I'm still in pain, although it is getting much better. Anyone getting this surgery especially as an adult 25 yr old male, they need to know the risks and the commitment it's going to take to recover...it algae not been an easy recovery at all...
