Alprazolam is a medication used to treat anxiety and panic disorders primarily. This means that it should be able to help your brother. It belongs to a group of benzodiazepines. His function is to slow some substances in the human brain thus relieving the patient of stress and nervousness. Attention disturbance, blurred vision, diarrhea etc. These are just a few of those that await your brother. I hope he will make it.
