Hi! My sister also uses Abilify. Abilify help her to control schizophrenia. But I must say it’s difficult to find perfect drug. Most of drugs have side effects. Some of more common Abilify side effects are: light-headedness, nausea, rash, restlessness, runny nose, sleepiness, tremors, vomiting, weakness, weight gain, anxiety, blurred vision, constipation, cough, headache, insomnia. Less common side effects include: anemia, appetite loss, blood pressure changes, bruising, chest pain, confusion, depression, dry skin, increased salivation, itching, jerkiness and rigidity, mania, muscle cramps, neck pain or stiffness, nervousness, pneumonia, shortness of breath, skin sores, suicidal thoughts, and sweating, swelling, urinary incontinence and weight loss. Abilify can cause tardive dyskinesia. Tardive dyskinesia, a condition marked by involuntary movements in the face and body, including chewing movements, puckering, puffing the cheeks, and sticking out the tongue. With this drug you must be very careful. If you notice any of those changes tell brothers doctor as soon as possible.
