What is a good alternative for lortab I've been taking it awhile for severe back pain and I've gotten a high tolerance to the medicine?

If you have been taking the Lortab for a long period of time and found the need to take more of it in able to get the desired affect, then you may very well have become dependent or even addicted to opiate painkillers. It is a situation that in NO WAY should be taken lightly and addressed with your caegiver ASAP!If you do not take the Lortab or any other type opiate painkiller for at least 6-8 hours, do you start to feel sick or agitated, then once the medicine is taken, the symptoms suddenly go away? If you said YES then the situation can only get worse if you do not seek help immediately! If you take them exactly as prescribed, never more than or more often than AND you do not become sick when you don't take them..that is fantastic, but seeing your doc and telling him the situation at hand truthfully will be only of benefit to you! Good Luck!
