I'm 16 and ive had what's known as a tight frenulum since I was a kid, growing up when I masturbated it wasn't painful so didn't think much of it. When me and my girlfriend have sex it doesn't cause me or her any discomfort but lately I've been searching things up and a lot of people talk about it being a bad thing, and having to have a circumcision etc. Is this the case? Or am I okay as long as it isn't painful? Thanks

Stop worrying about it.
One, it isn't causing you any discomfort.
Two, your penis is still growing and developing. It will until your early 20's.
Three, worst case is that it tears. If it does it will hurt and there will be some bleeding. After that it may resolve itself.
You can always see a urologist for an evaluation of your penis. If necessary a frenulectomy, removal, or a frenuloplasty, alteration, of your frenulum can be done in the office.
