September 11, 2012 I had a sex with my boyfriend. After 1 week I was confined at the hospital because I suffered itchyness in my vagina. The doctor said that I had a BACTERIA VAGINOSIS. He had given me a medicine to cleanse my vagina. My question now is that is their could be some possible negative effects that I would feel ? Like what ?

I've just done some reading on Bacterial Vaginosis and I can say if left untreated it can have some horrible complications. But since you've been treated you should be fine. You can access the side-efects of the medication through the small leaflet in your prescription box, or online.
I'm sure you'll be okay.
