I used first antibacterial lotion for my face. It was good but it wasn’t what I expected. So, I went to drug store and pharmacist told me that I should use antiseptic lotion for my skin type. What is the difference between a product that is antiseptic and one that is antibacterial?

I am using antiseptic mouthwashes because antiseptic substances inhibit the growth and reproduction of many microorganisms, including bacteria, as well as fungi, and viruses. However, antibacterial products kill bacteria only or hinder their growth and reproduction. I know that difference between antiseptic mouthwashes and antibacterial is that antiseptic mouthwashes contain a significant amount of alcohol. Some people find it irritating.
