Can I ask what is the meaning in my XRAY Results?
Suspicious densities are noted on the left upper lobe for which lordotic view is suggested
the rest of the lungs are cleared
hila and pulmonary vessels are within normal limits
heart is not enalrged
no other remarkable chest findings.

Hi Josh,
Something is seen in your upper left lobe. Normal lung tissue is "clear" to the x-ray - it comes out black. An infection or fluid will show up as a "density" which results in a white spot on the x-ray.
The lordotic view is another x-ray from a different angle to better image the top of your lungs.
You need additional tests.

Not necessarily. It means there is something they need to check out. Sometimes the position of the x-ray machine and the body leads to artifacts, false images, things that shouldn't be there. The other x-ray can help clarify if there is something there.

It can be done anytime but, if there is really something there, earlier treatment is better.

Infections and scar tissues present as "denser" than normal lung tissues. Fibrohazed densities means that there are "strands" of these densities. It is not normal and you will need a follow up to determine what is the cause.

They want another x-ray focusing on the apex of your lungs, the top. They also want another film focused on a specific area.
