I have this same remarks before during my xray. TORTUOUS AORTA means there are deposits lining the aorta either calcium which normally is deposited if not regulated properly in the body. TORTOUOS AORTA is hardening the heart or arteriosclerosis. On my case, I'm 63, but still breathe normally. Tortuous aorta can cause palpitation and hard of breathing.
