;-) Hi guys
A while ago I posted about having a small pea-sized lump in my left armpit, having previously been to the doctor about a swollen breast some time before.
I went to the doctor to have this lump checked out, the doctor literally looked at my armpit and said 'yes that looks a bit swollen' she didnt even feel the lump, anyways i was given a 5 day course of antibiotics called flucloxacillin. this worked the lump did go away. however it is now backwith a vengance.
The lump is slightly painful to the touch. Previously the first time round with the other lump i suffered with a severe dull ache in my arm however i dont have this at the moment.
Im skeptical of seeing the doctor as they werent very helpful before. Im 25 years old, female and have been a non-smoker for 6 weeks now. any help is appreciated. thanks in advance. x x

Lymph node "lumps" are the 1st sign of infection - you have them all over your body but the ones that show infection are on the sides of your throat, and your underarms! It sounds to me like you could be prone to breast infections or cysts - which happen more in women whom smoke and or drink coffee!!! So go back and this time take charge and ask her to check your breasts too - like an exam! You need to be back on anitbiotics and start taking Acidopholus and Probiotic yogurt - these help with attacking yeast buildup from the anitbiotics! Good luck and healht

%-) Hi I went back to the doctor, he felt the lumpbut said there was no need for concern as he was sure it was just a swollen gland again.
He said that it didnt seem infected at the moment as it didnt have any spots on it and it wasnt red.
This was thursday, im now going to go back tomorrow as it is starting to hurt, even when i move my arm. :'(
