I recently heard a theory about atypical coarctation of the aorta being responsible for allergies to medication. This certainly could ring true for me, but I had never heard that this was happening to other people as well, and that it was a direct result of atypical coarctation of the aorta. Could you tell me more?

I was diagnosed with Coarctation of the aorta at birth and I developed allergic reactions to medications at age 35, but never new why. My heart rate will increase to dangerous levels.
