I am a 42 year 11 month old female and I have autoimmune hepatitis, non-alcoholic cirrhosois, portal vein hypertension and I am currently 13 weeks pregnant. I am in search of any and all information pertaining to my medical condition as it relates to the pregnancy. Please reply if you have any information that may help me.

I notice your post was several months ago so I'm hoping you have info by new. I developed autoimmune hep when I was 8 weeks pregnant. Luckily it was picked up in a blood test by my rheumatologist. My pregnancy was fine. There obviously more visits to my specialist than normal but I gave birth to a very healthy baby girl whom is now 8 years old. She was a little early but she is very healthy. During my pregnancy I developed diabetes which can happen with the medication I was on but this disappeared when I gave birth. Good luck with your pregnancy, just do what your doctor and specialist tell you and it will be fine. Karen
