If you are referring to a stomach flu bacteria, then the answer to your question would be no. These bacteria and viruses that cause stomach flu do what they have to do, make us vomit, have diarrhea, feel exhausted but would not contribute to cancer.

GERD on the other hand could contribute to the esophagus cancer. However, chronic GERD could be treated with either medications or surgery to prevent the cancer.

Chronic GERD could lead to a condition called Barrett's esophagus. Barrett's esophagus is a disease in which the cells in the esophagus grow abnormally because of persistent acid exposure. Around half percent of people who suffer from Barrett's esophagus develop esophagus cancer every year.

celery and apples for acid reflux, also lemon might help. Stay away from baking soda and salt to neutralize, it will slowly break down your stomach. Try chewing on Fennel seed for indigestion. It's a blessing.
