Three days ago my husband and I had intercourse and I've been bleeding since. I've been on the same birth control for about six years but I did miss two days in a row a couple weeks ago not sure if that has something to do with it? I've been checked so no STD's and I'm not supposed to be on my period for three more weeks... my period always comes at the same time every month and It's not usual for me to spot in between.

I was also getting minor cramps the first day and the blood was a bit heavier. Now, on the third day i'm just getting a light brown discharge. 

A week ago while using the restroom i had a small amount of blood but I thought nothing of it because I thought I might of just wiped too hard? but now this? last week was also after intercourse.

I've had a friend who thought it could have been a miscarriage but, I'm not in pain and it was only enough blood to fill a panty liner. 

What could this be? I've made an appointment but that's not for another week so I'd like to see if I can get some insight.
