Hello, I am new to this forum and have found several questions very interesting. I have 2 kids (6 and 3.5) and would like to have a 3rd. I have had 2 D&C (both last year 9/07 and 11/14). After my first misscarriage my OBGYB adviced that I wait at least one cycle before trying again. So I did. I got pregnant 3 weeks after and unfortunately had another misscarriage also at 7 weeks. After the 2nd loss I was adviced to wait at least 3 cycles to allow for my uterus to build up again or to get thick. Otherwise there is a big change of future pregnancy not attaching well and having another loss.

Similar to your case three months have passed now since my last D&C. And I am now having abnormal spotting (light pink or bright red stained discharge) between periods even though my periods are regular or every 28 to 30 days. I have had blood work done and everything is normal. My last papsmear was about 4 months ago and I am scheduled for another one in 3 weeks.

I suggest you also have a papsmear done if you have not done so already. I am also a bit scared and like you have never experienced this before. And I am only 35 years old in a few months!

I hope my posting helps you in knowing that you are not alone.

Hi,

I had several miscarriages as well, and despite not having a D&C once, my menstrual cycles were definitely messed up for a few months afterwards, and I also had weird bleeding between periods. I was worried that it was an infection, that maybe something stayed behind inside my body, so I asked my doctor about it and he also said it was normal.

Having said that, it is very annoying when you are seriously worried and your doctor does not take you seriously. If you have not had a comprehensive gynecological checkup in a while, maybe now is the time. And maybe you can find another doctor?

I have my period, but then 2 weeks later I start bleeding a lot lighter, but it lasts for 5 days. It's happened during my last 3 periods. What's happening?
