I am a 18 year old girl and I lost my virginity to my boyfriend a week ago afterwards I bled for like 2 or 3 days so now it's a week after losing my virginity and we tried to do it again but it still hurted before he could stick it in and I begun to bleed again so we stopped...so my question is...is it normal to keep bleeding even after your first time and if so how many times will it take until I stop bleeding?

I lost my virginity about 3 hours ago and I've been bleeding ever since and it is quite alot, like I'm on my period. I am due to be on my period this week but still not for a couple of days. I guess my boyfriend was a little bit rough when we did it but it didnt really hurt that much once I felt my "cherry pop" is it normal to be bleeding this much?!!? I'm quite worried :/

i think it is normal to bleed your first time. I was horrified because nobody warned me that it could be a lot of blood. Everyone made it sound like it would kind of hurt then I would spot or lightly bleed. We'll it was my wedding night and we took plenty of time getting warmed up so it really didn't hurt but afterward when I pulled away I gushed blood. I ran to the bathroom with blood dripping down my legs. It was terrifying but after the initial blood loss I lightly spotted the next day and felt slightly tender but it has been five years since then and I was fine and still am fine. I will never forget the horrified look on my husbands face though. so glad it was with a man who loved and cared for me. For first timers take your time and choose a good mate for your first time. It can be traumatic if it is painful and can taint your sex life. Doesn't matter if your married or not but really give it some thought. For some people it is no big deal and not painful and not bloody but for others it can be bad and you don't want a bad experience to jack up your sex life cause it should be fun and pleasant and as human beings it is a basic need :) and if you have had a bad experience I am sorry. Nobody should have to go through that emotional stress

I too just lost my virginity, and as if the nerves weren't enough; I started bleeding ..a lot. I bled all over him and myself. I was so embarrassed and confused I ran upstairs and changed and also put in a tampon. He got cleaned up aswell and after talking he told me it was just my hymen he had broken (it being my first time and all) He left 45 minutes after and I went to take out the tampon only to find it was FULL with blood and already leaking on to my underwear. I was bleeding nonstop for about 3 hours to the point where I had my bestfriend comeover to see if I should go to the doctors. It has now been 24 hours and I am not longer bleeding as heavily as I was before. Although I am in a little pain and occasionally spotting on my underwear I think the cause of the bleeding was me not being erosed enough since it was my first time and I was nervous. That being said I was not able to get wet enough causing it to be way more painful and leading to all the blood (I think) hope everything is okay with you!! Just know you're not alone(:

I lost my virginity when I was 16 I'm 19 now. I currently just finished having Sex with my new partner. This is the second time we had sex. When I lost my virginty I bled like a lot a one day then spotted the next. The second time I had Sex with my new partner I bled a lot. Like I could sit there and it would just drip after cleaning up it sort of went away. But I'm still currently spotting. Is that normal?

I'm 13 and I lost my virginatiy 4 days ago and I've been bleeding ever since. I don't know if that is normal or not. My partner was really rough, it hurt really bad and it lasted for over a hour. My vagina was sore at first but now it's not, but the bleed has gotten heavier then at first. I'm scared and I don't want to tell my mom because I don't know what she will do.
