Bleeding During Intercourse

its been 3 days now since i had sex because ive been bleeding not much as i would if i was on my cycle but kind more than spotting and my lower abdomen been hurting like im cramping as if i was on my cycle. My cycle dont suppose to come until 2 weeks from now. what is wrong with me?

I have had a very active sexual life with my partner, i enjoy multi partner when we do group sex, so once or twice a year i get involved with other man for bringing change from routine. I have pain while doing sex and then in between I start bleeding. Also from past one year my periods have extended from 5days to 8 sometimes even 9days. Is there anything serious I should worry about, My best friends uncle is going for an operation a few days later and I want to give him my blood, is it ok to do? wht should i do to know if its not anything serious.

Got Cured Then A Mnth Later After That Got A UTI got Cured For That AsWell.. A Week After Being Put On The Medication I Decided That Sex Would Be A Option Again.. So Inbetween Sex I Began To Lightly Bleed.. Also After I Bleed Only A Lil Bit.. Actually Very Lil.. I Never Bleed B4 Durning Intercourse Or After So Im Really Scared.. I Get Checkd Up On Monday.. Hello, i'm 20 years old and i've recently started a relationship, but i'm afraid to have sex with him because when i had sex with my previous partner, i used to bleed during sex. It was quite a lot sometimes and it really scared me out of doing it, but i would never bleed after sex, it would only happen during which confused me. This was over a year ago now though. I'm just worried about why it happened and if it will happen again.

I am on the pill (Celeste) and sometimes i miss out periods on purpose, i thought maybe this could have something to do with it?

I don't want to be afraid to have intercourse but worrying that i might start bleeding as badly as before really does put me off.

I've taken tests for STIs before and they all came back clear. So i really don't know if it was just something that happened a few times or if it's something i should be looking into a bit more.

I hope someone can help me out.

I've had that same problem too! It's not all the time though. Maybe just a few times a month. But i've always had discharge on a daily basis so i know i'm not having probems being dry. I have however recently developed this really bad odor during sex. The past few times i've had this really bad and embarrassing fishy odor.  And i can't seem to be able to avoid tract infections after sex...it always burns like crazy when i try to pee afterwards no matter what i do. Any advice would be great!

i have not been able to orgasm since i started birth control provera and that was 4 yrs ago and now im on the pill and have been on it for a month now...do you think that has an affect on me not being able to orgasm. someone help me plz

This is a new concern for me!! I'm 21! Ive known my fiancé for 4 years but been dating since September last year! For the first time ever in my life I started bleeding yesterday after having sex! This has never happened to me at all! Now when we started having sex I was dry but i wasnt in pain but we decided that we needed to use some lubrication! But we did the second time and I was bleeding worst that time than the first! Im on birth control, depo provera and this has never happened before!!! I'm truly nervous and scared! My babes leaving to go back over seas tomorrow and I don't want to worry him! But it's scaring me since my aunt has been having a problem lately with her cervix! My next pap isn't until August! What do I need to do! Please help!!!

Firefly, this has been happening to me for quite some time now. I've been told I have cervical erosions. I've been with the sa,e partner for 10 years all of my pap smears came back clear. This started months before I went on the pill. What is strange is that the bleeding lessened when I went on the pill. This lead me to believe I have a hormonal imbalance- but all my blood tests came back normal as well! . There are a lot of women that seem to have this problem. Did you ever get an answer? There has to be An answer.

Is there a cure for bleeding during intercourse? Is there any vitamin you can take? How can it be stopped? I've had l.e.e.p done some years ago, removed polyps earlier this year and yet the problem persists of bleeding during sex continues. I'm 38yrs have 1 child. The procedures didn't help. What can I do?

I know this post is kind of old but I came across it when I was looking for possible solutions to this same issue..a large amount of bleeding during intercourse. Bright red, thin, did not continue to bleed after we stopped, etc.

Fortunately I had my annual about a month ago and everything for me was normal, and I was clear for STD's. So my particular case was not related. My dr actually checked me for cysts on my uterus and she found a few small ones, and I guess she saw where ones had "broken" and that was the result of the bleeding. She was able to physically see them and quickly tell me that was the issue. I just had to take some vaginal medicine for a slight infection due to them, and it will clear the issue. She said that things like tampons, some vibrators, the tip of a penis... can all break these cysts and can result in that type of bleeding. In my case, they are not cysts that are harmful. They just kind of come and go.

She did mention that sometimes they can be a result of an STD, but since I had been checked for me it was not a problem. She also said endometriosis could also be a result, but again for me it wasn't part of the problem. Finally, she mentioned that this is not uncommon for females with irregular periods. Mine comes basically when it wants to..sometimes I'll get it back-to-back months and sometimes it'll be 5 months apart. I think it results from the "shedding" going on during your period and it can result in some harmless cysts. I'm not a dr, but that's how I understood it.

This was just my diagnosis. I wanted to come back and post so maybe it'll put some readers minds at ease. Good luck to you ladies :)
