Hi I am 19 years of age and I started having sex like 2 years ago and about 3 months ago my boyfriend noticed that during sexual intercourse I was bleeding. I did not know what to do or say so i thought he brought my period down.. But i realized that could not be true because i had already seen my period for that month.. Therefore i had to take matters in my own hand because i was curious to know what was goiin on with my body.. That following day i went to see my gyn and i was told i couldnt have sex for a week or two because i had a bacterial infection.. n i was prescribed with some medication. HOWEVER! The problem still occurs i do not know what to do.. (It doesnt bleed as much as it use to though)

Im also on Lo Estrine24 Fe. I have only been on two types of Birth Control. Iv never had this happen until my current partner who is my fiance. In the beginning i never bled during or after sex, but the past 2 times i have bled. We dont do any crazy positions or anything. He is well endowed but i feel only slight pain at the beginning of the penetration. Like others its a wet feel not a bloody feel. The sex is great until we look down and see blood all over the bed. I did have cervical cancer cells this past fall but had the Leep procedure and got rid of the issue. Thats been over 6 months ago. I just recently went to the OBGYN and my results were stil negative for HPV so that was completely ruled out. My fiance is very sweet about it and doesnt make me feel embarrassed or anything like that but it is a bit scary. Im glad Im not the only one having this issue though, that is a semi relief.

hi, so i'm 19 and just started having sex with my current boyfriend. when i lost my virginity i heard how your "cherry pops" and there is light bleeding. which there was, but now its been about 3 months into our relationship and now im noticing that there is blood that comes out during sex. we dont notice it till after. it kinda freaks me out, what should i do? it's not heavy or really really red, but definitely really noticeable and brownish red....i don't know what to do.

I am 35 and I've been dealing with bleeding during intercourse on and off for years now. I found out that I had a uterine fibroid when I was pregnant with my last child (I had two).
Didn't have problems with it for years, then all of a sudden bleeding between cycles, then went through the phase of bleeding during intercourse, and then the phase of bleeding for 6 months straight. At that time my GYN gave me Lupron shots which stop the bleeding.
After that I had a UFE. No problems - divorced during this time. Without sex for two years --- met someone and develop an intimate relationship and what do you know -- bleeding during intercourse starts again.
Went to a new GYN because I moved to a different state and he talk about doing all the invasive procedures. I was told that it wasn't a fibroid that was causing the bleeding --- so I just wanted to do the Lupron again. He's has not been open to that --- I don't think they have any idea how frustrating and embrassing it is to be with someone and have it happen everytime.
Nor do they have a clue of what causes the problem. Prior to Lupron I had tried all kinds of birth control pills -- no worked -- often made it worst.
So just FYI ask your GYN about Lupron if you're face with bleeding during intercourse.

hi. im 17 years old i lost my virginity 4 months ago to my ex, he didnt pop my cherry so i didnt bleed. after him ive had three other sexual partners there is this one in particular that i bleed with during sex. i am on bith controll pilla because i am iregular in my periods and i might have polyovarium syndrome. i dont know if the size of the penus has anything to do with it, he is fairly large. i have had sex with him 4 times and all but one i have bleeded. the blod is bright red and this last time 3 days ago it was really bright and heavy...it staines the matress and there were blood clots. i only bleed during sex not after or before and i never have spotting before my period begins. i had a papa snear done a few weeks ago but everything is "normal" i am really scared and worried if someone could help me i would highly appreciate it. :'(

Hi I am so happy thaat i have found this site and I am not the only one with this problem. I am 21 and have been sexually active for a while now. About a week ago after having sex with my partner he noticed there was blood all over him I mean covered we just chopped it up to being ruffer then usual. But it keeps happening :cry: the blood is bright red and very thin which as we all know is not menstrual blood. After sex the bleeding may continue for no more than an hour I dont have pain and I never know that its happening I am just FRUSTRATED!!!!! Somebody please tell me what to do about this I am afraid to go the gyno and find out something horrible. I do have pcos but refused to take birth control because I want children so that can't be the common factor Im not on any oh and to many women are on here for all of us to have cancer. I have a problem with bleeding too but it's not so often. It has only happened the first times i had sex but not the first time i had sex though and then just like 2 or 3 times after intercourse. I really wanted to know what could this be if it's normal or not because what i have researched so far is telling me is normal because it could have been too rough or he could have ripped me a little. I was thinking if i could be pregnant but hopefully not. I'm planning to go get checked by a doctor soon.

what a relief! i thought i was a freak or something! i stared the pill 2 weeks ago and ive had sex a few times since having been on it yet a few days ago i just randomly started to bleed during intercourse... this has never happened before and it scared me... could the fact that ive only just gone on the pill be the reason? orrr......??????!!!!!

Yeah, I am kind of confused. I probably should go in for the test. My boyfriend and I have had sex three times now and I'm still bleeding. HOWEVER every time is less and less? But I don't think I'm going to stop bleeding during sex any time soon. I don't bleed after sex, it's only when it happens. And yes, I do use lubricant.

I lost my virginity 4 years ago, I didn't bleed and it didn't hurt. I thought that maybe I was one of those girls who just doesn't bleed or maybe I broke my hymen (popped my cherry) with a tampon. But just recently I was having intercourse with my fiance and we noticed that i was bleeding A LOT!!! Yeah ok me and my girlfriend have been having sex for about 5 months now. Were both 16 and she has never bled before. but a couple weeks ago i noticed when i was fingering her she bled. uhh im sixteen i've had one sexually partner & i bleed during sex & it pretty much terrifies me.. sometimes it can hurt, like he's going to deep ?! i dont know :-(.. i havent been having sex for very long but plenty of times and this has just recently started happening.. sometimes its heavy and i bleed for maybe an hour after.. is something wrong with me ? any advice would be amazing cause i dont talk to many people about this.. please and thank you.

I am so glad to see I am not the only woman with this problem. However it seems everyone is as confused and frustrated and I am. MY bleeding started about 8 months ago with my bf at the time. He and I broke up. Three months later I started seeing my current boyfriend. We have continual sex with no problems. Then just in the last few months its gotten worse. I went to the Dr. She tested me for everything under the sun. Even gave me and ultra sound to rule out polyps or uterine fibroids. She said everything looked fine, switched my birth control and told me I was just stressed (I at the time was moving across the country). Everything has been going fine on the new birth control-here and there. Sometimes there is no bleeding at all, and then last night was the worst I have ever seen it. My boyfriend is being to understanding but it's hard to not "stress" when I'm bleeding all over my boyfriend when we try to get it on. We even tried this new lube I got (at my dr.'s recommendation even though I thought I was just fine with lubrication, and the blood still came. Sometimes I notice I feel pressure (almost gassy) when this occurs. Sometimes there is a little pain right inside, but other than that, no severe pain. So she ruled out Endometriosis by that. But now I'm in a new state, no gyno yet and going out of my mind. I fear my loving bf will get tired of this and frankly, I'm tired of it!! I want to enjoy sex again!!! Should I stop taking the pill? Any Ideas?
