Hi. I am a 14 years old girl and I have an uncle that has some health issues. I know the name of his condition. He has vasculitis and I know that it has something to do with the blood vessel walls. Could you tell me anything more that I don't already know? I am very eager to know. Thanks in advance.

Vasculitis is a group of conditions that cause inflammation of the blood vessel walls (veins and arteries). There are numerous symptoms that include fatigue, weakness, fever, arthralgias, abdominal pain and high blood pressure. The most cases are treated with steroids, because vasculitis is caused by overactive immune system. I hope that I managed to clear this thing out.
