I'm a little worried because it seemed as though my bleeding had nearly stopped, and when I did bleed, it was a brown tint and then, I did the unthinkable. I had sex with my husband before I was supposed to. Almost immediately afterwards, I started bleeding bright red again and a few days later, was bleeding with amost a mucous type discharge. I've also noticed that the pain in my lower abdomen/insicion area seems more tender than it was just a few days ago. Could this be signs of an infection or something else of concern? I also just took my temp right now, and had a low grade fever of 99.3. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I'm really sorry BUT I have to say this. What were you thinking?! You are supposed to let you body heal after such a traumatic event. It is unthinkable and that your husband/partner would even agree to it is beyond stunning to me. My hubby wouldn't even touch me with a ten foot pole, he said "No way. I'd rather wait 6 weeks than 3 months".
SO what you need to do is get yourself in for a appointment and tell them what you did. You are not the first woman to do this and you won't be the last BUT you do need to see the doctor. It does sound like you do have an infection with your temp, pain and increased bleeding.
