Yes, when I was in my 20's I would get the "dots" if I was ill and threw up. Now that I am older, it causes entire patches of red, bruising. Scarlet patches under my eyes, beside my eyes and last time on both sides of my neck. Not painful, but hard to conceal. About five days the do vanish. Concealer and a good full coverage foundation help.

I had endoscopy and colonoscopy this morning. I laid on left side. All went well and when I got home I notice near my left eye I had red dots that spread to hairline. At fist I thought it was blood but then realized it was not. Has that ever happened to anyone?

I have broken caps all over my upper arms and a gew on my face plus my chest is always red and i have red dots all over my armsand chest. I hate it. Can u explain in detail how u did the needle. I canr afford laser and ive actually bought a led light therapy machine and its doing nothing. Im so sick of hiding my chest and arms its hot here in florida. I've had an issue with broken blood vessels all my life since I was a kid. If it's too hot, if I work out too hard, yell/scream too loud, vomit or get a high fever...the best natural remedy I've used and worked fairly well has been to pad a little vitamin E oil on the areas I tend of get broken vessels (around eye and cheeks) nightly after cleansing. This has help reduced reoccuring broken blood vessels in certain areas and is part of my nightly skin care routine. In addition, I've got a cold pack or even a ice cube and placed it on the broken blood vessels when I immediately notice them on my face, it helped reduce the redness and dissipate some of the red spots. Hope it helps but really no cure and normally takes 3-5days for it to go away. good luck!

i have aplastic anemia. I had polyp removal and began coughing prior to the procedure from the benedrile. I would not advise anyone to rub their eye. I have red dots all over the bottom of my eye and I believe it is from coughing. The doctor said that I should leave it alone because it was probably caused by a broken blood vessel. Thank you for your feedback about the vitamin though. The doctor said that I should wait to let it heal. People should get their blood work done if red dots show on their legs or elsewhere on their bodies. I don't want to sound negative but it can be caused by an underlying condition.
