im sexually active and have been for 3 years now. this last year ive been consistantly sleeping with the same person. when we were having anal sex frequently i noticed my period was irregular. often being light for 2 to 2 1/2 weeks at a time. we stopped having anal sex and my period become regular for 6 months. we started having anal sex again. after my last period was over we did it and i had a brown discharge a week after. now my period is late again by 2 weeks and my nipples are very sensitive. i took 4 home pregnancy tests and they came out negative. i went to planned parenthood and did a urine test and it was negative.

so my question is, can anal sex effect your menstrual cycle?
