Approximately 12 years ago I had a camera inserted into my throat. The gastro Dr. took a still picture and gave it to me. He said he did not know what it was. The brown spot was about the size of a pencil eraser. He told me to have it checked out. I did not of course, I was just 30 yrs old and shouldnt have anything wrong yet. I have to swollow several times, I have coughing attacks with alot projectile flem, often. I wake with a feeling of a tight throat and have to take big breaths to feel satisfied. I usually can cough up 1 or 2 tsp of brown flem and feel a little better. Then I have the feeling of something blocking the middle my throat. I dont have anything that feels swollen. I have the sensation of my throat closing up. Discomfort from where the tonsils are to the breast bone. I have done some research online and discovered my symtoms dont all fit with anxiety, thyroid or throat cancer. Im 45 yrs old and smoked since I was 11 and my father died 2 yrs ago from throat cancer.
