I'm not sure what it is, but I noticed that every time I get off my menstrual cycle, I feel a burning sensation as well as bumps inside my clitoris. If I touch it, it stings, and there is a brownish discharge. It doesn't smell but it is very unconfortable. There is also irritation in my vagina where the lips are located, so I don't know if it is the sanitary pads I use, or the type of soap I bathe in, or even the type of detergent I use. I went to the doctor recently, but nothing was wrong, I just had a bacterial infection. What does this mean?

Hi! I'm a first time user. I'm experiencing the exact same symptoms noted above but I can't see if anyone replied.

Hi, I had the exact same thing not long ago. I went to my doctor a number of times to be treated for a bacterial infection and was asked to for the time being after my menstrual cycle to wear panties with no dye in them, and to change to a different unscented sanitary napkin. It was the idea that I was having an allergy to either the dye in my panties or the type of pad. I would try that.
As I said I had it a number of times though even after that, not that it didn't have merit or work but we discovered that while I had been sexually active my partner had it. It's unnoticed in males but b/c he contracted it from me at one point in time he was reinfecting me when we had sex, for some reason the infection was more common after my menstrual cycle. we were both treated for it and I changed my panty liners and started using tampons. I have not had the problm since.
Sorry if that doesn't help!

I have had the same problem, I am happy to find that i am not the only one. I tried neosporin, and abstaining from sex for a while( easier said than done when your are married) I think the neosporin helped it go away, but I can not figure out how to make it come back!

I had the same problem for about 8 months. I would get severe itching either right before or after my menstrual cycle. All of my tests came back as yeast infection. I couldn't understand how I could get a yeast infection every month. But, my doctor said that hormones fluctuate drastically during that time so it is possible. She prescribed Metro gel (generic) and it works miracles relieves all symptoms on contact. hope this helps.

I had my boyfriend lick it until the bumps and the itching went away. I think you ought to try this out OFTEN.
