When I finger myself I experience slight burning and slight blood with the discharge. However when my boyfriend fingers me I don't experience the burning and he sees no blood. The blood is very less and with the discharge so I don't know if he hasn't spotted it or wether there is no bleeding when he fingers me but he tells me he can't see any blood.

There are only two natural sources of blood from the vagina:

1) losing your virginity (pretty much a one off shot - it breaks, not necessarily during sex, some blood, it's done)
2) your monthly period (which I trust and hope you're old enough to be having, given the nature of this post)

As far as I'm aware, there's no sensation of burning during the period - more typicially it is cramps.

For that reason, and the reason that you strongly associate it with masturbation, I'd say that something is an issue here.

The only 'natural' cause that occurs to me is that we can take a lot of pain, during pleasure, if we're determined, and some people when they're adults associate the two. In this case, it is possible perhaps that you are causing essentially a friction burn with rubbing, but to do so to the extent of bleeding and discharge seems highly unlikely.

I do note that your boyfriend at least seems to be experiencing 'normal' (no blood) foreplay.

If you do not think the blood/discharge is associated with any of the causes just mentioned, then yes, it is an issue, and you should go to a doctor, clinic, whatever and get it checked out, for your own well-being.
