I swim as much as I can. So far, I never had any problems with my ears. But couple of months ago, I had a middle ear infection and since then I have some strange symptoms from time to time. One of those is buzzy sounds after swimming. What could that be? Is it because of the infection or is it something else?

Buzzy sounds could be the result of the not yet eliminated ear infection. The other reason could easily be a condition called cerumen obturans. This is actually a wax accumulated in the outer ear channel. Beside buzzy sounds, there are other symptoms, like partial deafness, ear ringing, voice echo etc. In that case, you should really go see a doctor.
