can drink alchol on roaccutane?

I would not recommend drinking more than 2 glasses of wine or beer while on the drug and I would avoid liquor.
I had three glasses of vodka soon after I started the treatment and was up most of the night vomiting. Since then I have had the occasional glass of wine or beer and that seems fine.
They recommend not drinking alcohol while on this drug because your liver is already under a lot of stress and excessive alcohol consumption while also taking roaccutane may cause pancreatitis.
So I recommend saving alcohol for special occasion and then not drinking more than 2-3 drinks. Your liver will appreciate it.

Avoid alcohol because you could seriously damage liver. That could lead to treatment interruption. You can take very small amounts or drink rarely (I did same and nothing happened :-) )

I was on roaccutain for at least 8 months and i drank like there was no tomorrow. It worked perfecty fine and i had no side effects what so ever. I also smoked alot of weed nd took alot of pills. so dnt worry not advising that you do the same just try to ease into it and test your own personal reaction is probably the safest way ;-)

If you drink whilst on roaccutane will it affect how successful the treatment is regarding getting rid of the spots? Like will drinking alcohol make roaccutane not work properly or will it just affect your liver?

Well ive been on roaccutane for quite a while and was worried about all this drinking bulshit whilst on it im young like teenager and i tgought f**k it im just going to get slaughterd tonoght and i did it with no worries so theres plenty more of that to come on this c**p so i hope this helped mate;)

I was and are still one the pill. Not because it's not working though. I have been lousy at taking the pill when i am sopposed too. Anyway. I have been drinking alcohol because this was really important to me but the only side effect have been extra dry lips and face. This is normal because the pill really dehydrate your body adn alcohol does the same even better. I hope if you have problems like me (really bad) then you get this pill and take it for a few moths of your life. It sounds scary but the reality of it is that yiu can quit whenever you want to. I have not had any psycological effects at all. I have been drinking and i have had sleeping problems (not becouse of the pill). I really hope that all the people reading this will have respect for us that had/have problems with acne will understand that ths is not easy at all. It can ruin your self esteem and even your live. Been on the roac for about 4 months now. Taking max dose of 80mg/day (mass = 80kg). Have been drinking heavily recently and have found that my hangovers are far far more severe than ever before. All my blood tests have been normal and I advise all to drink in moderation but I haven't has any serious effects yet on the highest possible dose except terrible hangovers.

Anyway I think the drug is awesome and would recommend it to anyone struggling with acne.

Omg the same thing happened to me. I had one joint whilst on roaccutane and I literally had the worst trip ever. Time was flowing in circles and I thought I would never get out of the loop. Bendiest thing ever. Although the next day I felt rejuvenated and ready to tackle life face on again which was weird. I didn't drink because of the liver problems people get.
