Hi, recently I had valve replacement surgery and I have got farian for the rest of my life. My question is this, can farian affect my every days life. I am very interested in sport, such as kick box, and would I be able to continue it? How long will it take the INR to become stable? I have been told it needs to be at 2.5. What are the risks of high INR?

Farin thins blood by interfering with the normal mechanisms that cause a clotting. Natural mechanism are what cause arrest in bleeding when you injure yourself. I would advise against contact sports as it can increase the risk of bleeding. When the INR is too high, the risk of bleeding is increased. I hope I helped you with this info.
