Can my anus be infected and how can this be cured? For reference, I've been getting chronic BV after having sex with my bf without a condom. The last time we had sex he inserted a finger into my anus for the first time. It wasn't painful but the day after I have a slight itchy feeling in that area. Is it possible that my anus got infected from his one finger? My symptoms of BV flared up the next day after sex which includes itchiness around the vagina, so could it be just the Bv? Is it possible for the BV to have transferred to my anus? Do I need to go to a doctor about this? Thank you
