I am getting these pods at minimum every other day. No, I do not take Metformin. I am attempting to eliminate casein from my diet in hopes it will help. They always look the same, float, and orange outside with a white chalk-cake like inside. My doctor ignored me and said they were probably just medication related. They aren't. I am hoping the elimination of casein protein does the trick but it's not easy eliminating casein from the diet, as all dairy has it as well as a whole list of other food. I am still concerned, they aren't normal and they aren't medication related.

Wow i have a lotta of those orange things too! I croze two and when it thawed oyt it had turned white and was like a fat deposit. I also take those two diabetic meds so maybe it is somehow connected. Glad to know im not the only one.

I don't take metformin,and I also am T2, I take insulin, and invokana and januvia and still have the yellow, capsules looking thing's before I get them the pain was so bad I cryed now no one knows what they are,but thank you for the heads up on what it could be

I have had these....roughly 2-4 at times and most always very loose stools. They have been happening for now 3 plus years, just after being diagnosed with type 2 diabetes. I have been on Metformin the whole time. I take 3 625 mg tables two times a day. Is this something I should be worried about?

i have pictures i hadn't gotten then since last year when i was taking METFORMIN THE COPE-RAT but then i started taking then after my dinner and since January i mean why would this morning i ate and like an hour later took 2 of them the ER 500mg found oh NO here we go again but reading onwards now hearing it wont hurt your insides or colon and wont effect how the medication works to lower to diabetes it scared like so many of us mine are yellowish funny thought today there were two like the two pills and a little tiny piece of one from the 3rd on i took i always thought something was wrong with my Digestive issues but i was checked for crones and IBS but my stool has been awful not formed . i went off being Gluten and dairy free i thought that the dairy was causing this capsules since someone mentioned it was Caseins that fat that doesn't digest so for months i was giving up even lactic intolerant skim milk yes i went back to eating cheese so thought this morning this is why after months of taking metformin this happened could it be too due to diary? i am Hashimoto's disease i do not have crones or IBS i was checked from my stool funny how most Gastro Dr's know nothing we know more

well not according to what I've been reading that the ER like mine i had it once last year Gastric Dr looked at me and i had samples of these beauties he was so uneducated he's like its the ALEEVE gel caps well as usual this gastric dr thought it was crazy of funny i said first off that cant be gel caps do dissolve i asked too many pharmacist including my retired father ,,, most likely and I've been on other sites and something amazing was posted this woman like all of us was so frightened a foreign body that would scare any of us i was thinking cancer of my color all anxiety having this need to force myself to poop just to see my stool has never been good but now reading on METFORMIN i believe it our reasons why i had a bout now months later i have no idea for me i thought caseins capsules so i stopped dairy since last year didnt see any so i thought well it had to be fat that didnt dissolve due to my auto immune thats why i stopped eating gluten so i was eating alot of cheese again and 2% milk when i was on non dairy hadn't seen any so id like to think that its medformin i woman tested HERES A TEST YOU ALL CAN DO TAKE A METFORMIN PILL SHE DID THIS SHE PUT IT IN WARM WATER OVER NIGHT ADDED SOME LEMON JUICE GUESS TO STOP IT FROM CHANGING COLOR FAST AND WHEN SHE WOKE UP THAT PILL TURNED INTO EXACLTY A SOFT LIMA BEAN CONSISTANCE CAPSULE WITH A WHITE MEATY INSIDE LIKE ALL OF OURS SO YOUR NOT ALONE PEOPLE

I stopped the Metformin and they stopped. Now I am getting them with Welbutrin, and passing the tablet gels as well. :(

I was also on cogentin and they stopped when I ceased that medication. Now there are almost entire white pills in the center, I take pictures for my Doctor, and I think now it's the welbutrin, as I am passing whole capsule gel things also. I am on depakote and never had an issue until now if that helps.

I used to get terrible runs from metformin. My dr switched me to metformin xr. No touble since.
