I have been ill repeatedly for the last 9 months - usually at least once a month. It usually starts out with a sore throat, chills, then night sweats, I sleep for about 2 days, horrendous pain in my lower legs and sometimes pain in my wrists, and a burning sensation in my cheeks with a headache at the front of my face. I have been to the doctor who has pretty much ruled out everything. He is going to refer me to hospital. he took blood 3 months ago and everything came back normal.
I go down with any type of cold or flu that is around. I went yesterday with an itchy rash which the doctor said is chicken pox. I had a nasty bout of chicken pox when I was 9. My children complain that I am always ill, however, when I am not ill I am fine, walking, eating, feeling great. I have not lost any weight and am not depressed. I am so desperate to figure out what this could be I recently had the hormone implant in my arm removed wondering if it could be from that. Anyone have any ideas?

did you ever find out what was wrong? i have been in the same boat on and off for several years. this past year - when the kids went back to school - it's back with a vengence. same symptoms as you - pretty much - always exhausted - always sick. I have five children and the poor things are always so sad because i have to be in bed all the time. I have several up days in between these "bouts" but unfortunately they are seem to be closing in on me and i only get 2-4 days before i start feeling ill. i have been to numerous doctors who have told me it's depression - which i am not and never have been. doesn't matter because they want to shove those things down your throat like candy and when you stop them you feel worse than you ever did and can't think straight. of course everyone thinks we're faking or crazy - how can someone be sick so much? I don't understand and pray for the days I can feel "normal". do you ever wonder if could be your house making you sick or your kids illnesses coming back after they have "changed" when they go through their system?
