I am not anti-vax, but could this be linked to the covid shots? I had very odd reactions to mine - period cramping and an early cycle. The fact that so many people are having this issue and it coincides with the pandemic makes me wonder...

I’m in my 40s but have experienced this since my late 30s. I was even in the ER for dysfunctional bleeding, and I remember them saying, why is there so much fluid with the blood? They literally didn’t know. Since then they found an endometrial cyst on one ovary and uterine fibroids. I deal with a lot of pain and cramping, particularly during ovulation and right before/during my period. I’m reading a lot of women around my age that have this issue have fibroids/cysts or PCOs as well, so it’s also my best guess that they are rupturing.

After everything I’ve gone though with doctors and Ob/GYN’s it’s clear that women’s health hasn’t been updated in forever and there’s so much unknown. Obviously it’s been a man’s field for too long and we need better female doctors to push for more research and updated treatments.

This is crazy the same thing has been happening to me for the past 5 months. GYN hs no clue what is wrong!

I have fibroids, and the clear fluid started 2 weeks BEFORE the gyn put me on Birth control to slow my bleeding anemia. I use the cup, and also notice that i'll have about a tsp of blood and the rest of the cup will be filled with fluid, no odor. For me, the fluid lasts on day 10 after my period, then continues. I literally have like 3 days of no fluid every month. For those that think it's BV, it's not but can create an environment to create BV because there's floods of moisture everyday. I have had in the past 5 months. Literally have to wear liners on the light days with tissue on top that I constantly change, so I stay as dry as possible.

It's crazy to read/ discover this thread that started over a year ago. And we are all saying the same thing. I really wish more effort/money/consideration was put into research in uterine health.
I'm 49 and have experience this for a few years now. From further reading clear fluid seems a natural process. But GPs/doctors seem to know little about it especially during menstruation and in larger amounts like so many of us seem to be experiencing.
All I can add to this conversation, is that it doesn't seem to be impacted by my fitness levels or even diet. I suspect it might be connected to a shift in hormones.
So fibroids/ POCS/ menopause/contraception/etc could all play a role.
But I guess we won't know for sure until someone invests time and money into it.

Hello I just spoke to a nurse about this and she said as long as it’s not smelly or clumpy than it’s actually very normal and is a way of your body cleansing itself. Hope this helps
