(I'm sorry, this first line was intended to be for an actual reply to a post, so dismiss it being out of context other than using it for information purposes). The body doesn't work that way. "Pre-cum" is produced by a gland closer to your penis, and is very alkaline. See, sperm, and semen are two different things also. Sperm are the swimmers that we've all seen with heads and tails, and semen is the fluid that carries the sperm. The "pre-cum" we are discussing has a purpose of its own: It's purpose is to neutralize any acidic contents in the urethra (urine) as to not immediately kill the sperm as they exit, since sperm require a more neutral environment to survive. 

The gummy worms you have are not abnormal, but they are not normal either. Well, hydration is a huge factor. Also the fact that the body produces millions of sperm daily. In fact, if you were to lay out in a straight line, the coils tube that are in your testes, you would be absolutely amazed at how many feet in length these bad boys span out. The coagulation of the sperm is a perfectly normal thing. You won't really find that in porn, because those people have sex two - ten times in a day, and you won't find them carried in your own semen if you do the same.

You'll find that the longer you go without ejaculation, the more of these you will actually find in your semen. However, (addressing a lot of posts here), though you may not always feel like you busted a nut to your satisfaction, the coagulated sperm left inside that didn't quite have the umph to make it out will begin to break down (as all sperm does) within a minute and will become liquid form again, and pass through your urine.

There are no health concerns, other than the general concerns of lack of hydration, which affects your entire body (and definitely your brain and cerebrospinal fluid) a great deal. High protein consumption that the body does not have a purpose for once it has entered the body will assist in the production of noticeably coagulated sperm. 

Coagulation itself is normal, as the walls of the vaginal chamber (sounds like something from Mario now, huh?) are pretty acidic, so the sperm are swimming with their mighty shield, trying to make it into less acidic territory before being stripped of their shield from vaginal fluid and dying off. 

So they are thick and become more watery by the second as they struggle to reach the mighty egg, where they have to sit there and nibble away at the protective barrier over the egg itself in order to penetrate.

Anyone that says "It only takes one!" (to get you pregnant) is not quite stating the full truth. Sure, it only takes one sperm to fertilize the egg, but it takes thousands and thousands to be sitting on that egg to break down the barrier in hopes that one swims through the barrier to fertilize.

To anyone that wants to argue "then why is my girl pregnant when I didn't even bust one in her?" ... The only answer is that you either have a very high sperm count and you "slipped" a little bit before pulling out, or she has had enough "slips" in a 3 day period to eat through the wall.

Getting off on the wrong track there... But, someone will appreciate the information.

So, guys, yellow tinted coagulated sperm chunks/gummies/sticky-hands/worms, whatever you want to call it (and some of you pick them out, save them for a minute and play with them, or mess with your girlfriends with them, I know.... admit it), are not something that puts your health or your nuts in any kind of danger. 

Oh and last thing (I think), --- though I think I already covered it. But just to ease minds--- these things cannot get "stuck". They may prevent a full ejaculation if you are having a so-so/weak one, but there is no backing up like would occur if you didn't c**p for a week. They will flow out with your pee. If you really want to see it, get a strainer used for catching kidney stones, and piss in as soon as piss will flow. You will often see some of your remaining gummy friends in the strainer. 

Quit losing sleep over this. Quit being embarrassed over this. Quit worrying if you are sterile over this. But drink more water. It won't stop it, but it will certainly reduce the coagulation and help way more than you know with your entire body. As in, 1 gallon+ of water per day, even if just sitting inside. You'll pee like crazy at first, but after about 4 days when your body is properly hydrated (yes, it takes that much, and for that long to be properly hydrated, as there is no "force hydration"), your urinating will decrease. Okay I have important things to do.

I won't even begin to tell you how I know or who I am, because of the goofy childish nature that I often have, but you can take it to the bank.

Yep this is happening with me... Just curious but how old are some of ya that are posting because I'm 22 and I feel like I shouldn't have any problems like this... Just curious if it tends to happen more with older men or if it happens no matter the age.. I was really worried about the fertility thing but I had test done and I'm completely fertile.. So the people worrying about whether they can have kids or not, I don't want to say you can and then you can't, but I have this problem and I shouldn't have any problems making babies.. Ty everyone for this reassuring thread... i was really worried there for a bit.. Too the point to where I didn't even wanna look it up cause I was afraid of what I would find...

I am in the same boat... Chicken wings, sausage, hamburgers, dogs, meat lovers pizza, steak, bacon + when I work out I take protein shakes .. That's a lot. I've also had dehydration issues in the past.. I should probably drink way more water.

Gummy worms, big fat chunks on ejaculation, clogged feelings in your nuts, chunks in piss, (usually if pissing sitting down during a dump), yellow tinge.

And what the hell do you tell a girl when a chunk of this is in her ??

Clearly it's embarrassing, awkward and frustrating. I want a satin load but instead I'm shooting chunky milk.

I exercise, I Masterbate a normal amount, and even if I go weeks with an ejaculation or sex daily the problem seems to be present. Less chunks with daily ejaculation but probably just hasn't had time to coagulate.

I was stressed about this for 4-5 years now

I've been with girls where I'm afraid to blow my load because I don't want to have a conversation about proteins and coagulation, most girls will most likely run. Or why is their gummy chunks on my nice white bed sheets ?

 THEY DEFINITELY DO NOT INTERFERE WITH BEING REPRODUCTIVE. I HAVE 4 CHILDREN. 3 WERE BORN THE SAME YEAR. SO NO WORRIES THERE GUYS.  I understand what you guys are talking about. I'm 26 now and started to notice them about 2 years ago. Like everyone else it gets worse when I don't ejaculate for a while. I get them alot though. I just had sex 2 days ago and then masturbated today and had a good bit of chunks still today. I was worried too. Glad that I decided to google this and that it's actually not that rare.

Hi guys i have been having the same problem. i noticed that my ejaculate contained the yellowy horrible looking chunks and it FREAKED me out. i just want some clarification on this issue/topic, whether this affects fertility or not?
I am also slightly worried about making out with a girl due to this matter.

the cause i found is protine builds up and turns yellow. vitaman b6 and b 12 can cause these buildups. i realize since i drink alot of energy drinks and b6 and b12 are big ingredents that this is what causes it for me. so now i see chuncky yellow sperm alot less now. hope thiss helps everyone because i know i was really worried about having an std but im 16 and havent had sex so i knew it was somthing else.

Ive had this going on for a couple of years. At first I thought it might be diet too, but after being a vegan for 2 years and still getting the "worms" I can say I don't think it is because of meat consumption. I do however notice a distinct increase in amount after not drinking much water for a day or 2, drinking a lot of coffee or alcohol, and being stressed. It seems to be more affected by dehydration then protein.

Figured I'd say something about this. I've had this "problem" for around 10 years, 27 now. I have them, small or big, nearly every time I ejaculate. Whether I masturbate several times a day, or go upwards of 2 weeks before doing it. I've never got them stuck like other people have said. It sounds like people have it more severe than I do because I've never noticed a blockage, nor anything during peeing.

 

I find them fascinating and as disgusting as it might sound, often examine my sperm afterward to see how many or how big the jellies are in that particular load. I don't see why so many others are ashamed of them and feel they need to hide it from their SO's.

 

As for my diet/protein/hydration levels. Well they have varied widely over the past 10 years so I cannot attribute it directly to that. The only variable that has remained constant is that I have been obese the entire time, though I don't believe that is the issue.

 

While I haven't had any kids yet, as others have pointed out this isn't a sign of infertility. I for one don't mind it at all. On a side note, I sometimes think that they actually create an intensified sensation during ejaculation when they move through my urethra. It might just be my imagination, but sometimes my best climaxes yield a high number of jellies along with it.

 

Hopefully those reading this forum get the answers their looking for and don't lose too much sleep over it. And that post 1 page back gives a good deal of information about it if any of you happened to pass over it without reading.

Well this recently happened to me to folks,im 42 been in the gym for 2 months now trying to get in shape and ive been drinking protein shakes almost daily..I recently went almost 2 weeks without ejaculating and when i finally did it seemed normal untill the end ..when i noticed a thick clear like gel clump come out..didnt know why and it scared me a little although there was no pain at all,after reading this thread it does make sence about my recent high protein intake causing this..if anything else develops i will post but all seems well....;-)

This is a great thread- full of information.  I'm not sure why I never found it until today.  I had searched for information on this topic several times in the past few years and never found much - other than people asking questions about it, and not getting any answers.  I never had any solids what-so-ever in my semen until I was well into my 40's.  Then I started having it.  Sometimes they are pretty much absent- sometimes quite noticeable.  It appears that the amount is greatly reduced if I have more frequent ejaculations.  In fact, I believe that this may be the explanation as to why I never had it until my 40's.  It was then that my libido, and frequency of ejaculating, lessened.  From the age of 14, I had rarely gone more than a day without ejaculating.  When I reached my 40's this tapered off to sometimes less than once every week or two.  So I think this may be the cause of starting to see the lumps.  Also, I am pretty bad about keeping hydrated.  My consumption of wine also increased during that time- which I guess could also effect hydration.  Anyway, I am going to try to aggressively keep myself hydrated and see what that does.  I do have to say that I haven't really seen this as a "problem" (as others here have been referring to it) as much as it just being a phenomenon or curiosity.  I had lived many years with no lumps and thought maybe it was just an aging issue.   Seeing that younger people here are experiencing it was interesting to me. I have this too and have never asked my doc about it. Just looked it up and here I am. I eat a lot of protein, most of my diet consists of lots of meat.

Bottom line: I have three kids and all are healthy. The second was conceived while using the contraceptive sponge. The third was after a vasectomy and reversal. I have had the globules throughout all of this so no they do not affect fertility.

I have had this for several (+/- 15yrs) years now, on and off. Noticed it will decrease when i ejaculate more than once daily.I also noticed that, since i have gotten more active, it has gotten less frequent. Here is what i think after reading through this and many other topics. When i started working out i built muscle pretty fast until i hit a natural boundary with my normal diet. In that time i had almost no chunks in my semen. i kept the same system to loose more weight before i started taking protein shakes and voila, chunks were back. I tried back and forth and it's reproducable. I never cum without them btw, because i always eat meat and probably always have proteins in me that my body just doesnt know how to make muscle from so it puts it into my balls to make more humans... a little overambitious in my eyes but thats happening i guess...I had one week where i did not eat any meat or fish because i wanted to try if that had any effect on my condition and fitness. I had very little to no gummibears in my semen in that week. I still got back to eating meat because of general unhappiness and i dont want to overadjust my life which might cause me to fall back into laziness and apathy. Too much self control seems to be the thing that kills every good thing in my life and the chunky sperm is not something i regard as an important part of my life i need to change... it make my penis tickle when i cum and that a good thing! Never got anything stuck or had any pains. The people who have that happening should maybe try to cut down on proteins and fats as a first try and see if that does anything. It seems like it takes 90% of the people here forever to see a doctor about this anyways so thats something you can try in the time it takes you to overcome that time... If it helps, there you go. I found it easier to eat different than to drink more water. both probably has an effect. Hydration makes perfect sense in this regard and i believe if i would be better about that i might even be able to stop shooting jelly bullets altogether. I have actually used it to adjust the dosage of my protein intake to my workout schedule and i still keep the muscle i wanted and built a little here and there without gaining soft weight. So i am superhappy... 

So, whack it more often, move more, eat healthy and hydrate... As with everything, this seems to be the holy grail of the human condition and makes everything better except your time management.
