I have Has the same problem for years, mainly due to the fact I'm a meat and potatoes kind of guy. As for fertility; it doesn't affect it at all, I have four children from 2 to 11 years old. Hope that makes you feel a little better knowing it isn't problem

This happens to me without fail, I got used to it and stopped researching. However 5 days in to a course of metronidazoleprescribed for an oral infection it has stopped, maybe just a side effect of the antibiotic, or maybe it has cleared up some kind of infection causing the problem. Time will tell and I will report back.

Responding to my own post, about a year later... Well, I wasn't very disciplined around trying to keep hydrated, so I can't report back on that. However, something else to report. For completely different reasons, I decided to stop eating meats about 6 months ago. I still eat seafood and dairy, but no meat at all. I used to eat it fairly regularly. Well, I am no longer seeing clumps. They didn't stop right away. I think I saw the same amount for about 3 months but then they just started to taper off. I used to see more clumping, the longer I went without ejaculating. I just went a pretty long period and was sure I'd see some, but it was still gone. Hardly a scientific study, but I honestly believe that, at least in my case, meat in my diet was associated with the clumps. That still doesn't answer the question as to why they started appearing about 10 years ago. However, as I stated in my last post, I think it had to do with a reduced frequency of ejaculating. Whatever the cause, eliminating meat in my diet seems to have reversed it. The interesting thing was, that unlike others here who report fairly immediate changes associated with diet, it took months for me to see an effect. I'd be interested to hear if others ever observed this association.

No, I have the same issue due to a low sex drive because of medication, but my wife and I are having our second child, even though I experienced this issue at the time. I have noticed that if I have an orgasm regularly, then everything will return to normal after 3-5 days of consecutive orgasms.

I can speak for fertility. I give birth to gummy bears after 3-4 days of not ejaculating. Everyone's body is different, and don't believe someone who says different. I feel best if I ejaculate 1-2 times daily.
I have 5 children and all of them where either unplanned or conceived in the first month except for my middle child. For my middle child my wife and I went through fertility treatments and testing, with several times having my semen tested. They told me to abstain for like a week for the best semen sample. When I did (through much pain etc.) the quality of my semen was bad when they tested (bad tails etc.). The best sample I gave was when I gave a sample unexpectedly after ejaculating multiple times a day for a few days at least and only produced like a half tsp of semen but with no chunks. It was at 120 million w/ good quality. Everyone is made different, but in the 4-6 samples I gave the best results came from chunk free semen lower in quantity and higher in quality as I presume I kept my prostrate clean from old junk semen.
This may not be the case for all of you, but I wouldn't trust a Dr. etc. that claims you must abstain for days weeks on end to fertile. You may want to test yourself under differing conditions. Also for me Co Q10 made my sperm chunkier and thicker but probably helped my sperm quality?? The proof is indeed in the proverbial "pudding".

I've had this issue for 38 years since I was a teen. Some of them can be up to 3" long and rubbery. Other times they are short. It's probably a dehydration issue. Mine pretty much go away if I suck on a high quality unprocessed sea salt during the day (like Celtic or Himalayan). The salt helps your body to retain water to an extent and this added hydration seems to do the trick for me. Since the salt is natural your body simply gets rid of the excess in your urine. Give it a try.
