I have been in line for knee surgery for literly  years,.. the first ACL surgery done on my right knee, has given me pain over the years,.. Today I got THE CALL,.. .Surgery is Sept 6th,.. and it is going to take 3 days in hospital before I can be released.  In an era where people sent home hours after having a baby or even cardiac issues, I am concerned. 

I read with interest some of  the posts of some of you who say, "Oxford Knees' are nothing but new pain,.. the good reports seem few but the testimonials regarding this procedure seem reluctant to give a glowing endorsement. 

What kind of recovery period is normal for this procedure?  Your input will hopefully offset my anxiety.
