I also had the best results! It is very sorry to hear that many of you had such a bad experiences. It just takes more careful planning, research, sufficient cash and post-operative care. I had mine done in September 2007 and travelled overseas three weeks later – removed stitches when I got back a month later. Healed perfectly following all docs instructions. DO not overwork the area, bed rest! - painkillers make you painless and you can overwork the area without knowing it even from walking. try not take a pain killer and see how much blood is pumped to that area by simple walking.

I have had discomfort from my previously enlarged labia, it was difficult to keep my hygiene, denied sexual pleasures due to the way it looked before the surgery - NOW - I am free. I enjoy life, enjoy sex, very easy to keep smelling clean and tasting good.

Most importantly - RESEARCH your DOCS !!! Make sure your doc is certified board member in this field, legitimate, don’t be shy to ask numbers of surgeries performed, statistics, success-failure stories ect! This is an out of packet expense so many settle for a cheaper doc and pay for this mistake for the rest of their lives.

I had two kids and after having the last one I did labiaplasty AND vaginal rejuvenation as the same time - the sex is awesome now. especially if your boyfriends penis is not too big to begin with. The best investment of my life. He even did what is called un-hooding – opening of the clit – which can result in a nerve damage if done incorrectly. The result is NOT YOUR LUCK– it’s the competence of the doc you selected and the number of surgeries he/she performed and their success rate.

If you have any other questions, feel free to ask. i would also highly recommend doing the procedure locally – you might want to see your docs without having to travel long-distance.

Hi all, i had a labia reduction 4 days ago, i research my surgeon and fell really confident that i found the best person for the job. The opp itself was excellent, i had local anesthetic so talked to my surgeon the whole time, which was nice.

I left the hospital 3 hours later happy, i even managed to move my car that afternoon as it was on a yellow line. I Bled a bit on the the day of the opp but it seamed to heal really quick, the insitions are now dry and hard. the thing is now on day 4 one side is more swollen then the other and i have noticed the outside labia major has a dark patch on it, it may just be a bruise comming out but I'm worried as its seems so much more swollen and painful that side, both sides looked the same untill now, if both sides still looked the same i don't think i would be so worried but as one side seems to be much less swollen I'm wondering if i have an infection on the swollen side.

Also im worried as i had my first bowl movement on day 3, i was constipated from all the painkillers so had to strain a bit am im worried now that by straining i have damaged my recovery. Im not bleeding or anything, its just one side is swollen and lumpy and now with the dark patch on my labia major its worrying me.

Has anyone else experienced this?????

Hi everyone. I am new to this sight and not sure what I am doing. So excuse me. I had labioplasty done in 2007 after my second child. I am 39 years old and have been married for ten years. Since the surgery I have zero sensation around or on my clitoral area. Could this be because my DR has cut the nerve ending there or what? I try to stimulate myself and still nothing! The surgery alone has made it LOOK GOOD, however, I have no sensation. Has this happened to anyone else?

Thanks

Though this is not a direct response to your post i know it is possible for this to happen. My mother was going to have a labiaplasty done back when they literally just chopped off extra skin without any care and decided against it, but while having the discussion with the doctor she also looked into clitoral unhooding, which she told me that others had warned her against because of the possible nerve damage. i would consult a doctor about this because this is a problem that your surgeon could have caused and it is NOT something I would take lightly.

I had ten days ago.
I am still uncomfortable with the way it looks. Like some of you, I had the feeling that there is something wrong on the one side.
On the left labia everything seems perfect, I like it, it is just the way I wanted it. But on the right it looks somehow edgy... scarred... ugly, and even curly! And it is slightly more swollen than the left side. Also, I have the strangest feeling that my stiches there aren't professionaly done -- i have the feeling that my clit is stiched, too. Is it possible or I am too paranoic? Will I be able to have sex (experience clitoral orgasms), if this is true?!
And most importantly, is ten days enough to SEE the final result or I should wait a little more time?
PLEEEEEEEEEEEASE, answer me, because I feel really scared :-(

I cannot use my real name and use my husbands email of - anyone wishes to contact me please do so. I am ashamed to admit I had labiaplasty and only on this site have I found anyone who tells the truth about the pain and suffering after the catstrophic event.
I was operated in a BUPA hospital in the UK - the sugeon was well known for bbob jobs and told me he had the expereinec of this type of operation. My op is the same as LOULOU2 and the symptoms are just the same. I can't even think of sex which has done irrepairable harm to my relationship.
I thought I had a problem with big labia - I knew nothing. I suffer from dryness of my vagina, neuropathic pain from the scar. It feels like barbed wire under my crotch. Sitting is painful.
Need I go on - This op should be banned.
I treid to sue the surgeon but could not find another plastic surgeon prepared to write a legal report against him - I complained to the GMC and they white washed it. Telling me it was all on my mind and that some scarring was inevitable.
IN MY MIND !! They (men of course) want to try living with this between their legs. BASTARDS.
Anyone wanting to contact please do so.
Sorry if I am boring poeple - OIM xx

In fact has anyone any ideas ?
I am heading towards manic depression just to add to me misery and that of those closest to me.

OIM your surgery and experience sounds very much like mine and performed by a similar plastic surgeon. I can't see your contact details - I think perhaps they get deleted as mine did on another site. Please get in touch, my contact is . I hope this is not deleted when I post it.

OIM - not sure whether my post made it to the board. I want to get in touch with you. The surgeon you describe is very similar to one who operated on me. Please post back, I really want to talk with you.
