My husband had Cervical Fusion surgery on C4 & C5 about a year and 6 months ago. The Xrays showed the disc were almost crushing his spine (the area where the disc were miss-alligned the spine appeared to be as thin as a string in just that section.) The symptons that caused him to get checked was numness in his right foot and leg, and loss of balance, along with limping in his mobility. We were advised there was no way to determine if these symptons would go away after the surgery, only time would determine it. We were advised without the surgery any slight bump, fender bender or fall he would befome a parapalegic. My husband had the surgery and to me he he is worse. He drags his right leg, easly looses his balance, has numness in his right hand also. I beleive he is in pain, but will not admit to it. I took an act of congress for me to get him to go to the doctor to get checked when he initially began having some. problems. My husband is short patient and there is not much pleasure being around him. I beleive all of this is due to his health condition. I don't not what to do and I need some help so that I can help my husband
