Hello, I am 40 years old and I am having serious gums problems. Doctor said that all that bleeding from gums is because of the constant gingivitis that won’t go away. For a start he gave me some advice for better cleaning and said that we will see if that happens. If not, we’ll try something else. Could gingivitis be cured by only regular cleaning? Or is there some other cure?

I guess it depends on the seriousness of the situation. I was in a similar situation five years ago and I also cleaned my teeth more properly and used some anti bacterial products for mouth washing and that was more than enough. Gums are similar to muscle sand if you do not train it, it will become weak and bleed easily. At least that’s what the dentist told me.
